Materials and Tools

I sculpt using Super Sculpey, a polymer clay. My armatures consist of household aluminum foil, as well as aluminum armature wire. I paint with Delta Ceramcoat craft acrylic paints, using paintbrushes.

Say, what would you recommend for wax/oil/-based/non-curable modelling clay? I got out a lump of greasy kids' clay for a current project and found it wanting. And greasy. XD

what would i recommend in the way of what? i don't use oil based clays at all, they are too messy for my taste.

casteline is a sculpting wax. i use it from time to time. i like it but i don't use it too often as you have to mold the piece and cast it to make it finished. and i am very allergic to casting resins!

I saw where you said you had to get your husband to cast the resins for you. I thought that was a brilliant solution. :D

And thanks! I'd like to give casteline a try, even though I've never used modelling wax before. But this soft/goopy/oily modelling clay I'm using is driving me nuts.
