I wanted to do a study in texture and this is what resulted! This is a forest spirit. I made everything on him a texture from the forest, with his legs growing into the ground. It was very time consuming!

Super sculpey over wire and foil armature, wood base, acrylic paints.

Dimensions: 14" x 6" x 5"

What an awesome sculpture.
I love the detail that you've put into the painting. The detail in the moss is my favorte part. :D
Wonderful job on creating such a unique and creative design as well. The tree-shaped body really fits the theme .

That's amazing...I love how the feet turn into roots, all the textures (like the bark texture on the back legs, the moss...) and the leaves... The root-whiskery beard is awesome, and I love its face.
